Malaga-Costa del Sol airport (IATA code: AGP, ICAO code: LEMG), also popularly known as Pablo Picasso Airport, is located 7 kilometers southwest of Malaga city center. It is the most important airport in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, ranking fourth among Spanish airports and twenty-second within the European Union. The airport has two runways. The main runway is 13/31 oriented, 3,200x45 meters long (10,500x148 feet). The second runway operates only at specific times of high air traffic or during the high seasons of the year, and has a 12/30 orientation, with 3,090 x 45 meters in length (10,140 x 148 feet). Both boast an elevation of 16 meters / 52 feet above sea level
